 We’re looking for Bank Support Workers to join our team in Daytime Opportunities..

We are looking for Support Workers to join our Day Service team in Heaton Moor, Stockport to take a person-centred approach, supporting individuals to take part in activity sessions. The day centre is a hub of activity, and we also offer the opportunity for the people we support to go on day trips in the community and experience fun and adventure. The service operates six days per week.  We are now seeking Bank Support Workers who understands the balance between care and promoting positive risk taking so the people we support can take part in everyday life experiences.

– Can support daily routines to provide structure and stability for our residents and build meaningful relationships.
– Promote independence and are committed to supporting our residents to receive an excellent standard of care and giving them the opportunity to live a full and active life.
– Understand the needs of and a positive attitude towards people with disabilities.

– Are willing to work flexibly to cover shifts that will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays
– Have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written (including basic IT skills)

– Previous demonstratable experience in care.
