We’re looking for a Team Leader to join our team at Cheddle Lodge..

We are looking for a Team Leader to join the team at our Residential Service in Cheddle Lodge based in the town of Cheadle, which provides support to 13 adults with Cerebral Palsy and associated disabilities.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to join our team in providing exceptional care within a residential setting. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supervising staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care plans, and fostering a supportive environment for both residents and team members. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for senior care.

The Role;

The Team Leader will ensure support plans are adhered to and that standards of care practices are adhered to. They will make an active contribution to the team, working closely with the rest of the team to ensure the highest standards of care, and build and maintain appropriate relationships with residents, carers, colleagues and other professionals.

You will also;

– Work to provide an excellent standard of person-centred care in a safe and nurturing environment.
– Support daily routines to provide structure and stability for our residents and build meaningful relationships.
– Promote independence and are committed to supporting our residents to receive an excellent standard of care and giving them the opportunity to live a full and active life.
– Understand the needs of and a positive attitude towards people with disabilities.

– Supervise a team and lead shifts according to the needs and changes throughout the day.

What we’re looking for;
– Have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written (including basic IT skills)

– Previous demonstratable experience at Supervisor / Senior Support Worker / Team Leader level in a care setting.

-Excellent understanding of person centred care.

– Are willing to work flexibly to cover shifts that will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
